I hate sitting idle, so there is always a project on the go, whether it be for school, home, or helping someone create their "back-of-the-napkin" idea.
This was a custom job for a natural log ring box with magnetic closure. Made of maple.
The box itself was 3D printed with wood filament and sanded finish. It was designed with a custom lid and the floor of the box has an astrological constellation based on customer request.

This was a personal project to help cope with all of the mechatronics and parts that are normally scattered across multiple work and storage areas. in addition, it was designed to house both my paper printer and 3D printer, as well as a charging bay for drill and camera batteries. It was also designed to house our dogs' crates and all their toys and other belongings.
I designed this jewellery tree for my wife to help consolidate, protect and display her jewellery. I shared the design on Thingiverse only to have it later featured, due to its popularity. Since then it has also been shared on Cults, and between Thingiverse and Cults, the design has been downloaded (in its various configurations) more than 10,400 times.
While home for so long over lockdown, it was decided to put our old run-down bedframe out to pasture and I wanted to make our new one.
The entire bed is made from ethically sourced beech. The headboard was made from pine siding slates and customised with a CNC laser cutter. Lights and switches were also added to the headboard to complete the project.
This was my first big CNC project, done mostly out of pine, and although the original design called for a plywood top and bottom, you can see from the top image that I went with clear acrylic so that the lever action to open the drawer was visible.
As illustrated in the bottom right, it was designed to hold all needed devices while allowing the laptop atop it to have free airflow to keep it cool.
I designed a modular wall-mounted organiser for all the main things I use on daily for my dogs. It holds 6-7 waste bag rolls that cascade down, hooks for general items (leash, collar, coats, headlamp), and a place to keep treats close to hand.
